Linen backing allows posters (or other paper items) to be rolled and transported easily and safely.  It is the best method for relaxing fold lines and wrinkles, and for preparing a piece for paper replacement and touch-ups.  It protects against deterioration and makes it possible to handle fragile or brittle paper.  The finished  product will look beautiful unframed and make a framer's job easier.

Our linen backing system is totally reversible and uses only acid-free materials. It is a wet-mounting process which allows us to thoroughly cleanse posters before they are double-backed on Japanese rice paper and a heavy weave of 100% cotton canvas.
